Customs Anti-Counterfeiting in a Workshop at the BA

Alexandria— The BA will organize on Sunday, 15 April 2007 a workshop on Customs Anti-Counterfeiting by the Imaging Consumables Coalition of Europe, Middle East & Africa (ICCE) to train Alexandria Customs officers on how to distinguish counterfeit printer cartridges and identify the traders and sources of these illegal products.
This will help Customs protect Egypt’s consumers from being cheated by poor quality fakes that can damage their printers, photocopiers and fax machines. ICCE includes the companies HP, Canon, Epson, Xerox, Lexmark, Oki, Brother, Panasonic and Samsung.
The workshop will start at 9:00 hrs. at the Third Floor Meeting Room, Main Library.
