Omar Al-Bashir Visits the BA

Mr. Omar Al-Bahsir, President of Sudan, accompanied by a senior delegation visited the BA on Sunday, 13 May 2007, as one of the scientific and cultural sites in Egypt.
Ambassador Ali Maher, Director of the Institute for Peace Studies and Dr. Yehia Halim Zaki, Head of the BA Academic and Cultural Sector, accompanied Mr. Omar Al-Bashir and his accompanying delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour included the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
