Developing Young Peoples' Research Skills at the BA

The BA organized on Tuesday, 26 June 2007, a lecture entitled "Developing Research Skills" by Eman Al-Waszan at the Young Peoples' Library on how to prepare a research paper using different resources of the Library, such as : references, internet, and electronic databases.
The Young Peoples' Library is one of the specialized libraries at the BA and is an educational medium for raising children and developing their skills. The Library seeks to achieve the BA's mission in being a place for learning, reading, research, and creativity for young people to promote their talents and creative potentials.
The Library is designed to develop reading and research skills in children, prepare a generation able to face challenges of the digital age, open a window for children on the history and culture of Egypt, as well as the international literature and folklore. The Library also meets the needs of visually impaired children and children with special needs, support creativity skills, and adopt the idea of a mobile library to reach out to all Egyptian children.
It is worth mentioning that the Young Peoples' Library comprises a huge number of books, references, periodicals, audio-visual mediums, and electronic databases. These different mediums cover different fields of knowledge: linguistics, science, arts, sports, literature, history, and geography in different languages; Arabic, English, French, and others, such as German and Swedish.
