Challenge and Development Prospects in Sudan in a Seminar at the BA

The BA Dialogue Forum will hold on Saturday, 7 July 2007, a seminar entitled "Sudan: Challenges and Development Prospects in the Nile Valley", by Dr. Bashir El-Bakri, Former Sudan Ambassador in Paris and Dr. Eglal Raafat, Professor of Political Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences, Cairo University. The seminar will be chaired by Mr. Hany Raslan, Editor, Center for Political and Strategic Studies in Al-Ahram.
The seminar tackles the daily reality in Sudan, in which speakers will shed lights on Darfur conflict and the controversy thereof raised on the international arena. The seminar will also discuss development prospects in Sudan in specific and the Nile Valley in general.
It is worth mentioning that the Dialogue Forum holds two seminars monthly tackling different areas of knowledge and science, in which the audience participates in an open dialogue with the speakers, thus entrenching values of tolerance, dialogue, and understanding of the other stipulated in the BA's mission and objectives.
The seminar will start at 19:30 hrs. at the Lectures Hall, BA Conference Center.
