Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Visits the BA

Hon. Ugo Intini, Deputy Minister for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and his wife, and Mr. Gianni Martini, Consul General of Italy accompanied by H.E. Ambassador Ashraf Rashid, Ambassador of Egypt to Italy will visit the BA on Thursday, 9 August 2007, being a major scientific and cultural complex not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but in the entire world.
Hon. Ugo Intini is scheduled to meet leaderships of the Library including Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector, Ambassador Aly Maher, Director of the Institute for Peace Studies, Dr. Mohamed Awad, Director of Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex Med), in addition to Mr. Gianluca Solera, Head of Network Coordination Unit, The Anna Lind Foundation. The visit will start at 11:00 am.
