The BA Planetarium Science Center Celebrates End of Summer Workshops

The BA Planetarium Science Center will celebrate on Tuesday, 11 September 2007, the end of the summer workshops held every year in September.
The celebration includes performances by children and volunteers, a lecture on Ramadan's Crescent and a video conference from NASA on Desert Research and Technology Studies. The audience will make a virtual visit to the Arizona Desert in the United States of America, where scientists are testing new equipment for future trips to the moon. Awards and acknowledgments will be given to top students and volunteers.
The PSC organizes a children's summer program every year for a period of 3 months, targeting students and youth from different age groups. It includes trips, scientific lectures and workshops.
The celebration starts at 16hrs, at the Great Hall, BA Conference Center.
