National Library of Spain specialists visit the BA

Dr. Paloma Fernandez de Aviles and Mr. Juan Alix Trueba, librarians from the National Library of Spain, visited the BA this week to make arrangements for the important exhibition about Alexandria and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina to be held at the National Library of Spain in Madrid next year. Besides visiting most BA departments, museums and exhibitions, they also visited the Greco-roman Museum to enhance their exhibition with originals and facsimiles from Egypt and the BA. The exhibition, "The Bibliotheca Alexandrina: Homage to the memory and Saving for the Future", will pay homage to the ancient and new libraries as well as the context of Alexandria as a city.
