The BA, in cooperation with Senzo Mall, will take part in the Hurghada Festival of Heritage Arts. It is the first Egyptian Heritage festival of its kind to take place at the Red Sea, organized by Senzo Mall in Hurghada and taking place at the Al Mazzar Shopping Center from 19 to 20 May 2017.

The BA’s participation in this event lies within the framework of its continuous efforts in disseminating knowledge and culture through its presence in local and international exhibitions. The festival is jointly organized by the BA, Senzo Mall, the Red Sea governorate, the Red Sea Sustainable Tourism Initiative, Yadaweya, and the Al Mazzar Shopping Center.

The festival aims to preserve the cultural heritage of Egypt, believing in the small craft activities that make up the very foundation of economic and social development. It furthermore hopes to support a new generation that embraces the importance of heritage, crafts, and craftsmanship.

In addition, the festival will include an open handicraft and art exhibition, a few art workshops that the exhibitors will be participating in, and a handicraft training program for children.

The library will participate in a series of events during the exhibition in the form of a group of art workshops, which aim to preserve heritage, and a book fair on the festival’s sidelines.
