“Guidelines for Researchers” Workshop at the BA

The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in cooperation with The Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, Arab Regional Office (TWAS-ARO), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Elsevier and the BA Legal Department, holds the “Guidelines for Researchers” workshop from 27 to 30 September 2010.
This workshop aims at helping young researchers to refine their skills in order to translate their scientific research into doable commercial ventures to meet international standards. It is divided into three main parts: proposal writing and research promotion; author skills and publishing; and intellectual property rights.
Applicants , who are eligible for participating in the workshop, are young researchers (under the age of 40), holding an Arab nationality, and a MSc or PhD student or post-doctoral researcher, working in the field of sciences (Engineering or Natural Sciences).
Deadline for registration is 12 August 2010. Registration fees are 300 L.E. TWAS-ARO is offering a number of sponsorships to eligible applicants to cover the registration fees, travel expenses and accommodation costs.
