IPS holds the Second Phase of its Courses

The Institute of Peace Studies (IPS), affiliated to the Suzanne Mubarak Women's International Peace Movement (SMWIPM), and hosted at the BA, organizes its second phase of the fourth cycle of courses, held from 25 September to 11 November 2010.
In this phase, IPS offers four courses: Challenges of Building Culture(s) of Peace, Mediation and Negotiation, Gender and Peace Building, and Conflict Transformation. The lecturers are given by renowned university professors from Egypt and abroad. Arabic is the working language in all courses, except for the Culture of Peace course in which sessions will be given in English. Upon completion of courses, participants will receive a certificate accredited from the University of Peace in Costa Rica, a UN affiliated university.
IPS organized the first cycle of courses during the period from 3 to 29 July 2010 including Conflict Resolution, and Research and Training Methods in Peace and Conflict Studies.
