The BA Endorses Dr. Moushira Khattab’s Candidacy

Statement
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) fully endorses the esteemed Dr. Moushira Khattab, former Egyptian Minister and prominent diplomat, as the representative of Egypt, Africa, and the Arab world nominated for the position of Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The BA wishes to highlight her prominent status, vast experience, and unwavering dedication to noble humanitarian objectives. The BA would also like to note that Egypt is the most deserving nation of said position, considering its role as a protector of heritage and a source of enlightenment. Furthermore, Egypt has taken the lead in the fields of education and culture in the Middle East throughout its long history. Therefore, the BA would like to extend its well wishes to the Egyptian candidate on her well-deserved nomination.
