The Manuscripts Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina hosts and organizes its first international ‘Millenary Manuscripts Conference,’ 26-27 September, 2004.
The Manuscripts Center will host distinguished manuscript specialists from all over the globe, to meet and review the treasures of heritage lying in the vast array of Arabic millenary manuscripts (i.e. dating back to 450 AH or before) scattered all across world libraries. The Conference aims to shed light on that rare heritage reservoir.
