The BA Director Receives the Ambassador of South Korea

Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, received H.E. Hong Jin-wook, the South Korean Ambassador to Egypt, on Tuesday, 28 September 2021.
Elfeki underlined the strong ties between Egypt and South Korea, highlighting South Korea’s major accomplishments in the fields of manufacturing and information technology.
Ambassador Hong Jin-wook said that he was keen on expanding collaboration between Egypt and South Korea, particularly in the field of culture, stressing his interest in cooperating with the BA and benefitting from its expertise in the preservation and digitization of heritage.
At the end of their meeting, Dr. Elfeki presented Ambassador Hong Jin-wook with a number of BA publications.
