The Works of Inji Efflatoun Adorn the BA

The BA Art Exhibitions and Collections Department displayed the Library’s collection of drawings by Inji Efflatoun in the exhibition area on level B1 in the Main Library building. The collection provides an opportunity for visitors to learn more about one of the most distinguished artists who shone at a pivotal time in Egypt's modern history, in the second half of the twentieth century.

It is worth mentioning that Inji Efflatoun is one of the prominent names in the history of the Egyptian art movement. She was an aristocratic artist who was concerned with teamwork and national struggle. She was famous for the peculiarity of her artistic style in painting and coloring to the extent that her paintings became known at first glance for their harmonious color rhythms, reflecting an interesting dialogue between reason and imagination.
