The BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT) received a group of trainees from the National Training Academy, on Wednesday, 15 May 2024.

The guided tour began with the Projects Hall, as trainees were introduced to the Center's activities in the field of heritage documentation, after which they watched the show "Punt Land" that highlights the ancient Egyptians' journeys to the land of Punt, which was one of the most significant commercial events during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut in Egypt.

They then attended the "Wall of Knowledge" show, which uses augmented reality technology to display several topics from Egyptian heritage, including the tomb of Tutankhamun, Egyptian fine art, The Book of the Dead: The Papyrus of Ani, and the mural of the tomb of Rakhami-Ra.

The group also visited the “Star Riders” exhibition, which was meticulously designed to showcase part of the contributions of medieval Arab astronomers. At the end of the tour, the trainees watched the film The Ancient Library of Alexandria in the Cinematheque Hall.
