International Movie Stars in a Visit to the BA

A delegation of international film stars representing several countries, including France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Kuwait, and Algeria, paid a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on Saturday, 6 October 2024, to learn more about this enlightening local and international cultural landmark.
The delegation made a tour of the Library and its various sectors.
They visited the main reading area, and were introduced to the digital and technological projects, the Bulaq Press, Kiswat Al-Kaaba, and the exhibitions and museums inside the Library, such as the Impressions of Alexandria and the Shadi Abdel Salam exhibitions, together with the Manuscripts Museum and the Museum of the late President Mohamed Anwar Sadat. They also attended the culturama show.
At the end of the tour, the actors praised the BA’s precious treasures, valuable museums, and diverse exhibitions, in addition to the books, references, periodicals, and digital projects that serve readers, researchers, and visitors in a distinct and modern way.
