“Science and Technology Education for Sustainable Development in the Arab Region” Conference

On the occasion of The Arab Regional Office of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS-ARO) 9th Annual Meeting, on 29 and 30 December 2013, an inter-disciplinary conference entitled “Science and Technology Education for Sustainable Development in the Arab Region” is held.
The Conference brings together TWAS-ARO members and young affiliates, along with other distinguished speakers, to highlight the linkages between science, technology and society, through discussing issues related to quality, relevancy, and equity in the Arab countries' education systems which are essential to provide a generation that can face future challenges.
A poster session will also be held allowing young Arab researchers to showcase their researches related to the theme.
