Annual Meeting of Intellectuals

The BA witnessed, on 29 and 30 December 2013, the meeting of intellectuals and scholars held annually to discuss issues pertaining to culture, the BA projects and its future agenda.
The Meeting emerges from a rigorous belief held by the BA concerning the significant role played by intellectuals in rebuilding societies, fostering comprehensive dialogue, and discussing cultural policies and initiatives.
Several Egyptian intellectuals attended the Meeting and contributed to the 2-day discussions.
This Annual Meeting has always been an occasion gathering intellectuals from different backgrounds and age groups to evaluate the cultural scene and share points of views about the future, in an atmosphere of dialogue and mutual respect.
