Biodiversity Deterioration in a seminar at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA)

Alexandria— As part of the BA’s endeavors to raise the environmental awareness of university students, the BA is organizing a scientific discussion with university students on Saturday, 15 April 2006 on biodiversity deterioration phenomenon. The discussion will focus on the deterioration of biodiversity as an environmental problem, which directly affect human. Biodiversity means the variety of the organic living organisms from ecological systems, marine and aquatic life sources. During the seminar, students will discuss the phenomenon, its causes, and hazards, and explore proposals to solve the problem.
The seminar will be chaired by Dr. Salah Soliman, BA Advisor and Professor of Chemistry, Alexandria University.
