The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) Announces the Top Listed Candidates in the First Phase of the Research Grants

Alexandria — the BA is organizing an event to celebrate announcing the top listed candidates through the first phase of the research grants prepared by the Center for Studies and Special Programs (CSSP).
The celebration will be inaugurated by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the BA, Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Director of the CSSP. Dr. Mohamed El-Faham states that more than 80 researchers participated in this year’s competition and during the celebration, the top listed candidates will be announced to enter the final phase.
Dr. El-Faham added that the research grants program aims at supporting the research work of the Egyptian Youth holding PhDs in agricultural Sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering sciences and technologies, information technology, physics and astronomy, biophysics and biochemistry, medical sciences, earth sciences and mathematics.
The BA has taken this initiative as a step on the path of scientific progress enabling serious and distinguished researchers to transfer their theoretical research to reality. The center will fund selected researches within a financial plan allocated by the BA. Researches were selected by an international reviewing committee comprised of 57 eminent scientists form allover the world.
