The BA receives a delegation form USA

Alexandria — Today, 28 May, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is receiving a delegation from The United States of America, headed by Mrs. Margaret Spellings, US Secretary of Education. The visit comes within the context of the American and international interest in the BA as a cultural and civilization edifice. It is worth noting that prior to this visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed by the BA and the Library of Congress.
The delegation is to be received by Ambassador Taher Khalifa, Head of the External Affairs Sector at the BA. The delegation is to be taken on a tour of the BA introducing them to the services the BA provides its visitors, as well as the museums, galleries and centers affiliated to the BA.
