Building of scientific research capacities in developing countries: A lecture by Dr. Serageldin

Alexandria — The Egyptian Academy of Science, headed by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman El Sharnouby, is organizing a lecture by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and a member of Egyptian Academy of Science entitled Building scientific research capacities in developing countries, on 3 July 2006.
In his lecture, he will focus on one of the main problems faced by developing countries, which is scientific research; how to develop the mechanisms and skills that support scientific research which acts as a building block of development.
The lecture takes place at 8:00 pm, auditorium, Egyptian Academy of Science.
