The UNESCO Organizes an International Competition for Young People

Alexandria — the UNESCO organized an international competition for young people, youth participated from 62 countries from all over the world. The competition, entitled Scenes and Sounds of My City, is based on group work endeavoring to create a computer presentation (audio-visual) of their urban environment or experiences within urban surroundings. A group of young people from the BA Children’s and Young People’s Libraries represented Egypt and were ranked the first in the competition.
