Alexandria— The BA will host from 27-29 November 2006 the Fifth Sesame meeting. The meeting is to provide a forum for exchange of knowledge and ideas in such high interdisciplinary fields and to discuss the latest developments in the project, which is headquartered in Jordon.
It is worth mentioning that the synchrotron light is a main tool in several applications of modern technology. More than 60 centers for synchrotron light are present all over the world, while the Middle East is deprived of these kind of scientific centers. The emerging center is a joint governmental organization under the auspices of UNESCO. The Jordon government is constructing the building and providing its infrastructure.
The meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. at the BA Conference Center.
