The BA Website in Japanese
Posted on
Alexandria— the BA launched the Japanese version of its official website, under the auspices of Prof. Kazuo Takahashi, member of the BA Advisory Board. This initiative reflects the international mission of the BA as a center of learning and knowledge that enhances the values of tolerance and constructive dialogue.
Prof. Takahashi stated that the Japanese website is entitled (BA Project). The website explains the BA role as a cultural complex rather than a library. The website starts with the history of the ancient Library of Alexandria and its role as a beacon of science in the ancient world. It then moves to the development stages of the Revival of the Ancient Library of Alexandria Project from an idea to a reality. The BA Project website also contains a translation of the original English website. A visitor to the website can access the BA complex with its different scientific centers, initiatives, museums, and exhibitions along with photos and descriptions. A visitor can also review the role of the different departments and centers of the BA forming an integral center of excellence and creativity.
