Alexandria—Gamal Abdel Nasser Digital Archive—http://nasser.bibalex.org—has been recently enriched by new features and collections that will make the website more beneficial. The “Happened at the same day” feature allows users to view events, news, speeches, or documentary movies that happened in a certain year on the same day. One of the easiest ways to gain a considerable amount of historical information, the feature will help keep younger users in better contact with Nasser’s history. The collection has also been expanded with new material including 43 speeches in video and audio, 29 greeting cards, 276 stamps, 13 pamphlets released by the Free Officers Movement, and 22 documents containing meeting minutes of the Egyptian Cabinet in 1,176 pages.

The speeches and documents are all categorized by date, which will make it easier for researchers and historians seeking a specific range of Nasser’s political life. The 44 hours-video speeches are an outstanding addition to the website. For the first time, Nasser's speeches are provided in text, audio and video. The pamphlets are also a very unique addition to the collection. The pamphlets were published by the Free Officers Movement to encourage the Egyptian army and people to revolute against the British occupation. It really gives the users a great part of history. The greeting cards and the stamps, together with other cultural items, have also enriched the website.

The digital archive of Gamal Abdel Nasser was created in 2005 in cooperation with the Nasser Foundation. The International School of Information Science (ISIS) had digitized and published everything related to the President through an integrated searchable web-based system. The entire digital archive is freely available at http://nasser.bibalex.org and has been receiving an average of 1.5 million hits per month.
