Melina Mercouri's Exhibition at the BA

Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, and Mr. Panayiotis Vlassopoulos, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, will inaugurate "MELINA…The Last Greek Goddess Is Here" Exhibition, held under the auspices of Mrs. Dora Bakoyannis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, and Mr. Nikitas Kaklamanis, Mayor of Athens.
The BA Arts Center will organize the Exhibition featuring several photos, posters, clothes, and the Oscar Award.of Melina Mercouri, the Greek Actress and former Minister of Culture.
Actress Melina Mercouri, the wife of the Greek American Director, Jules Dassin, is known for her struggle against the brutal military dictatorship in her country. She passed way in 1994.
The exhibition will be opened at 20:00 hrs. at the East Exhibition Hall, BA Conference Center.
