A Seminar and Photo Exhibition Reflecting the Humanitarian Role of the UN at the BA

The BA UN Depository Library will organize a photo Exhibition entitled "UN Humanitarian Projects in the Middle East” , in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP), the United Nations Children Fund
(UNICEF), the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the United Nations Information Center in Cairo (UNIC).
The Exhibition raises the awareness on the role of the above mentioned UN entities. Following the inauguration of the Exhibition, a seminar entitled "Humanitarian Role of the United Nations: Challenges and Opportunities" will be held, chaired by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the library, in the presence of estimated guests from the business, academic, NGO’s, media and civil society sectors.
The opening of the Exhibition will be from 17:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs and will last for 21 days, at the BA Conference Center (BACC) West Exhibition Hall. The seminar will be held at (BACC) Delegates Hall, on Tuesday 31 July 2007 from 17:30 hrs to 19:30 hrs.
