"Cairo Salon" TV Show by the Director of the BA

Alexandria—Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, completed the preparation of a number of episodes of "Salon Al-Qahera" TV Show, aired on Egypt’s Channel 2 and Egypt’s Satellite Channel on Friday, 17 August 2007, at 8:15 pm. The weekly one-hour program is presented by Dr. Ismail Serageldin featuring special guests every week. The show opens new horizons on pressing cultural, scientific, and intellectual issues, serving as an enlightened podium for Arab and Egyptian audiences.
Dr. Seragedlin stated that the first episode will be about "Bulaq Press", while future episodes will cover a broad range of topics, from Napoleon Bonaparte to Coral Reefs!
