Cairo Salon Discusses the Arabic Novel

Alexandria—In this week’s episode of the “Cairo Salon” TV Show, aired on Channel One every Saturday at 11:30 pm, Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, will discuss contemporary Arabic literature, specially the evolution and development of the Arabic novel.
Dr. Serageldin will host a number of eminent scholars, namely: Dr. Abdel Salam El-Masdey, Professor of Linguistics in the University of Tunisia; Dr. Abdu El-Raghy, Professor of Linguistic Studies in the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University; and Writer Mohieldin El-Latheqy.
