Serageldin Talks about Water and Climate Change

Alexandria—Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, gives short talks about “The Impact of Climate Change on Water Issues” pending to an invitation from the Alberta Water Research Institute (AWRI), Canada, as part of their “Celebrating Fresh Ideas” speakers’ series. The presentations are held on Wednesday, 17 February 2010, at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary.
Serageldin also gives an additional talk to an audience of the Library Community about the Library of Alexandria, its history, and its collections, and about the new building and facility.
During his visit, meetings will also be held with senior officials and legislators from the Government of Alberta and the University of Alberta, and with the business community and media representatives.
