The “Narrative Review” Series, hosted at the BA, holds a seminar entitled “Ossama Anwar Okasha and the Unknown Alexandrian Drama”, on Tuesday 17 August 2010.

The Seminar is moderated by Dr. Ismail El-Shekha, Head of TV Channel 5, and hosts Scenarists Mohamed El-Dakhakhny and Vivian Mahmoud.

The seminar honors the late TV Drama Writer Ossama Anwar Okasha, who was fond of the city of Alexandria, and is held during the month of Ramadan, which witnessed the broadcasting of most of his famous TV series.

It is worth mentioning that the Narrative Review is a series of workshops held every Tuesday at the BA. The reviews seek to nurture writing skills of young Alexandrian authors, build networks between writers from different generations, and launch an active critique movement to build bridges between critics in Alexandria, Egypt and the Arab world at large.

The seminar is held at the BACC Room E at 8:30 pm.
