Animation Films in Cairo Salon

Cairo Salon TV Show, presented by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, devotes an episode on Animation Films. The first part will be aired on Channel One on Friday, 22 October 2010, at 8:30 pm.
Serageldin hosts the Animation Filmmaker Showikar Khalifa, and Dr. Mohamed Ghazala, Animation and Graphics Lecturer, Faculty of Fine Arts, Minia University and Director of ASIFA Egypt, the regional chapter of l’Association Internationale du Film d'Animation (ASIFA).
The episode will tackle the origin, development and pioneers of Animation, as well as the Egyptian experience in that regard, dating back to 1935.
