Museum Education at the BA

The BA Antiquities Museum organizes a program on museum education during the summer vacation from 12 June to 12 September 2011. The Program targets children and young people from 9 to 16 years old.
The Program comprises workshops on museum education using different materials, including: drawing using coal, pastel, acrylic, and wood; drawing on papyrus, glass, and foam; carving gypsum and limestone; and graving using clay and slime. It will also include a number of lectures as well as film screenings.
At the end of the summer activities, an exhibition is held displaying all participants’ artistic works, followed by a ceremony for giving out prizes and appreciation certificates to the students.
