Realizing his distinguished stature, the BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC) hosts the “Fermi Legacy” Exhibition from 6 to 25 November 2012.

The Exhibition comprises 10 panels, 8 groups of photos, and numerous quotations describing Enrico Fermi’s background, life, achievements and contributions as one of the 20th century leading scientists. Fermi is best known for his work on the development of the first nuclear reactor, and for his contributions to the development of quantum theory, nuclear and particle physics, and statistical mechanics. He was awarded the 1938 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on induced radioactivity, and is frequently referred to as "the father of the atomic bomb". Several awards, concepts, and institutions are named after him.

"Fermi Legacy" is held at the BACC West Exhibition Hall, and is open for public.
