Lecture by the Director of the Anna Lindh EuroMediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures at the BA

Dr. Traugott Schöfthaler, Secretary-General of the German UNESCO Commission and Executive Director of the Anna Lindh EuroMediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures, is giving a lecture entitled Multiple Perspectives in the History Books: A New Approach to Dialogue between Cultures and Civilizations on Sunday, 12 December during the international Entre Histoire Et Memoire, Alexandrie Et La Mediterranee Conference, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) from 12–13 December 2004.
The Anna Lindh EuroMediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Culture commenced its activities on Thursday, 9 December 2004. Headquartered at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina upon approval by the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, the Foundation will promote dialogue for increased understanding between Europe and the countries around the Mediterranean and in the Middle East.
