The BA Takes Part in the Arab Week for Sustainable Development

The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program is taking part in the fifth edition of the Arab Week for Sustainable Development with an important session entitled "The Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Sustainability: The Role of Cultural Institutions in Achieving Sustainable Development in the Arab World.” The event will take place on 26 November 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, at Triumph Hotel, New Cairo (Fifth Settlement).
The session will be delivered by a large number of sustainability experts in the Arab world, and will be moderated by Dr. Marwa El-Wakil, Head of the BA Academic Research Sector.
The Arab League General Secretariat will launch the fifth edition of the Arab Week for Sustainable Development under the title "Sustainable Solutions for a Better Future: Resilience and Adaptability in an Evolving Arab World", in cooperation with partners from the United Nations, the European Union, the World Bank, Al Baraka Forum for Islamic Economy, and the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, during the period from 24 to 27 November 2024 in Cairo.
The Arab Week for Sustainable Development will witness a significant participation of stakeholders, governments, the private sector, civil society organizations, the academic community, and young people who are active in the fields of development. It is considered the most important event at the regional level in the fields of sustainable development.
