The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) is an affiliate center of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. It is a not-for-profit educational center dedicated to increasing the public's understanding and appreciation of science, mathematics and technology through scientific shows and interactive exhibits.
The PSC was founded in the belief that curiosity, knowledge and appreciation of the sciences are essential to the health and survival of the individual, the community and the planet. The center inspires individuals of all ages, cultures and walks of life to appreciate the significance, relevance and application of the sciences in order to better understand ourselves, one another, and the universe in which we live.
The Planetarium Science Center is reinforcing its unique role in the cultivation of creative citizens interested in science and technology by embarking on a major transformation – one that will address a changing world and build on a prominent history.
