Biography

Dr. Ezzeldin is Former Director of the National Library of Egypt, Bab-Al-Khalq. A Professor at the Department of Drama and Theatre Criticism of Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt (founder of the department). A classicist by training and an active player on the wider cultural scene, she is member of the IFTR, she is also member of the Egyptian Society for Comparative Literature and the Egyptian Society for Literary Criticism. She is a jury member for many literary, cultural, theatre and film awards. Visiting professor at both Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic and N.Y. University in Abu-Dhabi.  She has to her name many publications in Arabic, English and Italian.
