Biography

Abeer Salih Zakaria is a political science and public administration graduate, 1997. She is currently the Director of the Child Section at the National Library of Kuwait. She started working at the National Library in 1998, then became she the Director of the ISBN Section, the Copy Rights Section, then the Child Section. Abeer Salih Zakaria participated in several activities, such as: the Preservation Of United Nations Documents Course, organized by the United Nations, Beirut 1999, represented the Library at the WIPO, Switzerland 2000, and participated in a course on Arts and Its Impact on the Individual and Society. She is also a member of the Special Libraries Association.
