Biography

Dr. Sohir is a Professor of French linguistics, French Department, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. Her interests include literary semiology, French and contrastive linguistics. Prof. Elshami held the position of Head of the French Department during the period of 2008–2014, and has been a member of the Professors Promotion Scientific Committee from 2008 to 2013. Prof. Elshami received the award of Palmes Academiques from the French government in 2013.
