Fahrenheit 451

The Big Read art contest around the novel  Fahrenheit 451 was launched at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on 7 July 2009.

We welcome amateurs and professionals 16 years and above. The only thing you have to do is to form an idea about Fahrenheit 451 and the topics it deals with, and try to express them in your paintings or prints.

We invite you to submit your works to the Reference Desk at the B1 level of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina by 30 July 2009.

The winners will be selected by a committee presided by Mr. Gamal Hosni, Head of the Exhibitions Section of the BA Arts Center. The finalists will be announced during the Big Read Summer Celebration on 13 August 2009.
