Mr Ashraf Saad Al-Mallakh

Biography
Mr. Ashraf holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Ein Shams University in 1983. In the same year, he founded Flash Video Film Company, which worked in the field of distribution of films on video tapes, and in 1987, the company became specialized in children's films. In 1990, the company made an agreement with the Egyptian television on the distribution of its children’s works on video tapes. In 1998, he founded the Family Home Entertainment Company, and became the distributor of Disney films for children in Egypt. In 2004, Flash Video Film Company distributed the children’s program, "Sesame Street". In 2010, Mr. Ashraf co-founded United for Media Production. Since then, the Company has been producing a series of Holy Qur'an stories: Stories of the Animal in the Qur'an in 2011, Stories of the Human being in the Qur'an in 2012, the Stories of Women in the Qur'an in 2013, the Wonders of the Stories in the Qur'an in 2014, and the Stories of Verses in the Qur'an in 2015.

Impact of Animation Industry Development on Children
Among the problems animation industry is facing to reach what the developed countries have reached in this field are the following:
First, the writing: There is no dough that in any artwork, the text is considered the key aspect of that work. It is unfortunate that, despite the abundance of writers in the Arab world, we lack specialist writers in this field.
Second, the graphics: How can graphics influence the child’s mind and personality?
Third, the direction: The participation of prominent directors in animation films.
Fourth, the production: There is a need for the participation of the state’s entities, represented in the Ministry of Culture and Education, the media, and civil society in support of animation production.
There are some ideas aiming to achieve the difficult equation of animation; i.e. attracting children and influencing them positively in terms of education, intellect, and moralities.
1. To create attractive cartoon characters.
2. To choose topics that attract the children
3. To develop the religious discourse.
4. To develop the linguistic discourse.
