Dr Nermin Abdelsalam Sharabas
Deputy Director of Financial Resources Development at the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation 57357-Egypt, she is also the Director of Volunteers Department at CCHF 57357, In-Hospital School Liaison/Mentor, Patient Medical Liaison Officer; Training Advisor& Facilitator; CSR Executive & Grants Affairs Executive.
Biography
Dr. Nermine has over 24 years of professional experience in health care management. Her experience varied between military hospitals as a Brigade Leader pharmacist for 10 years, pharmaceutical companies, the private pharmaceutical sector, educational hospitals, and management of financial resources development in NGO’s, as well as strategic planning and training.
She holds B.S.C. of pharmacy, Cairo University in 1991; and a B.S.C. of Military & Administrative Sciences, Egyptian Military Academy, 1994–A.R.E. In addition, she obtained a certificate in human resources management, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, USA in 2011; Certified Internal Quality Auditor ISO90001; and Certified TOT & Facilitator.
She is member several national and international committees; such as the United Nations Volunteers Taskforce; Association of Fundraising Professionals, USA & Middle East; in addition to other committees within 57357 Hospital, such as: Policies & Procedures Committee, Learning and Development Committee, and Patient and Family Advocate Committee.
She was granted numerous awards and recognitions, such as a certificate of appreciation from the Department of Volunteers at 57357 Hospital, the award for outstanding performance from 57357 Hospital Foundation, the Volunteer Department, which she was heading was selected as one of the best volunteer departments included in the Yearbook of the United Nations Volunteers of 2013. In 2015, she received a certificate of appreciation from the 57357 Hospital for her contribution as a lecturer in the program of nursing continuous training.

Presentation Abstract
57357 An Icon of Change Towards a Cancer-Free Childhood
57357/MSE in-Hospital School is the first integrated school in a hospital in the Arab Republic of Egypt and in North Africa. This School provides enjoyable and useful experience for all students by providing school education. By that we ensure a normal life for them, and help them by preventing any sufferings from concerns about their academic studies. We offer them continuing education within the Ministry's curriculum, where education plays a part in children’s psychological wellbeing, and optimizes medical treatment.
Our aim is to develop a culture of teaching, education, and diversity in all ways that lead to educating children and allow them to be proud of their identity and their ability to participate fully in school life.
The CCHE management, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and its partners, seeks to develop the educational programs and methods by introducing new technology and e-learning system to provide educational services to all patients
