Dr Hanaa Farid, M.S pediatrics

Biography
Dr. Hanaa has a Master’s Degree in Pediatrics with 25 years of experience as a pediatrician. She obtained Human Resources management Diploma, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2012, Certificate of Infection Control in Hospitals, AUC in 2005, and Masters in Epidemiology, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University in 2003. In 2003, she worked a Grants Specialist at the AFNCI. She joined CCHF in 2004 as a Director of Grants & Training, and currently she is the Strategic Director of Fundraising Department Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation (CCHF), Member of Association of Fundraising Professionals, USA & MENA.
She works on building a strong strategy for sustainability of Hospital 57357, with a solid image and positioning to win trust from all its supporters all over the world. She develops guidelines for the activities of the 18 units of the fundraising department with a total of 100 staff members to develop innovative methods for fund raising programs. Dr. Malak has received certificate of appreciation from the presidency for the collective work of the Fundraising Department, and El Sharka Prize for Volunteer Work. In appreciation for 57357’s humanitarian role and work at the service of the community , it was awarded the 2014 under the patronage of his highness Dr Al-Sheikh Sultan Ben Mohamed Al-Kasmy, El-Sharka ruler and supreme council member. In addition, the CCHF 57357 was awarded the World Health Organization’s UAE Health Foundation 2008 Prize by the Health Minister.

Presentation Abstract
57357 the Icon Change Towards a Cancer-Free Childhood
57357/MSE in-Hospital School is the first integrated school in a hospital in the Arab Republic of Egypt and in North Africa. This School provides enjoyable and useful experience for all students by providing school education. By that we ensure a normal life for them, and help them by preventing any sufferings from concerns about their academic studies. We offer them continuing education within the Ministry's curriculum, where education plays a part in children’s psychological wellbeing, and optimizes medical treatment.
Our aim is to develop a culture of teaching, education, and diversity in all ways that lead to educating children and allow them to be proud of their identity and their ability to participate fully in school life.
The CCHE management, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and its partners, seeks to develop the educational programs and methods by introducing new technology and e-learning system to provide educational services to all patients
