Presentation Abstract:
Networks are organic organisations, living and evolving. As they bring together different countries, cultures and languages, these networks need common values and platforms of exchanges to make them meaningful and relevant. Making networks live is a matter of both attitudes and actions.
The experience of Ecsite, the European network for science centres and museums – will be described from the inside. Who makes it work ? How is it sustainable ? What does it do and why ? We will share with our colleagues the hands-on experience of Ecsite, now 20 years, to further enhance the development of our field.
