Biography:
Mr. Dubia joined Qatar Foundation International in the fall of 2009 as a Technology Consultant to strategically position QFI as a leader and innovator in the field of technology. Under Mr. Dubia’s guidance, technology has become an engine that drives QFI’s mission and enables its programmatic focus on education, community engagement and health. Prior to joining QFI, Mr. Dubia worked extensively for the past decade in a range of independent and private educational settings, providing institutional solutions to the problems of knowledge sharing and collaboration in a global community. Under Mr. Dubia’s leadership, these institutions were able to incorporate technology as an integral feature of their administrative and academic programs. Working with development teams, Mr. Dubia created networks and platforms that increased efficiency, improved work flow, and allowed for extensive collaboration and knowledge sharing using social networking tools. As a practicing artist, Mr. Dubia has exhibited his work extensively. His photographs have been shown at exhibitions in a number of countries, including Cuba, Uruguay, Germany and the United States. Christopher was co-founder of the Center for Collaborative Art and Visual Education (CAVE), and developed CAVE as a community arts organization for both youth and adults.
