The Relation Between the Arabic and French Literature in a Seminar at the BA

Alexandria—the BA Dialogue Forum is organizing on Saturday, 13 January 2006 a lecture entitled "the Impact of French Literature on Arabic Literature" by Dr. Nafissa Shash, Professor of French Literature, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University.
The lecture explains the relation between Arabic and French literature through French men of letters who traveled to the East and were influenced by Arabic literature.
It is worth mentioning that the Dialogue Forum holds two seminars monthly in all fields of knowledge. The seminars allow interaction between the audience and the speakers, thus entrenching the value of tolerance, dialogue, and acceptance of the other, supported by the BA.
The lecture will start at 19:00 hrs at the West Hall, BA Conference Center.
