The BA Signs a Cooperation Protocol with the National Library of Cuba

Alexandria— The BA and the "José Martí" National Library of Cuba signed a five year cooperation protocol to strengthen cultural cooperation between the two parties, especially, in expert exchange in field of library science, bibliography, and archiving.

The protocol includes research programs in cataloguing, classification, labeling, effective communication, as well as organizing exhibitions and seminars. Cooperation channels will include preservation of heritage, rare books, maps and manuscripts, in addition to children and visually impaired libraries.

H.E. Ambassador Abd Elfatah Ezzeldin, Egyptian Ambassador to Cuba and Eliades Acosta Matos, Director of the "José Marti" National Library signed the cooperation protocol.
