Portuguese Minister of Defense Visits the BA

HE Mr. Nuno Severiano Teixeira, Portuguese Minister of Defense, accompanied by a senior delegation will visit the BA on Thursday, 27 December 2007, as one of the cultural and scientific landmarks in Egypt and the entire world and to discuss means of cultural cooperation between Portugal and the BA.
Dr. Sherif Riad, Director of the Public Relations Department, will accompany the delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour will include the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
